(if a corpse can be described as belonging to anybody)... That's rather morbid! A clever line like that always puts me in the mood for a story. Another line-- about how her smile was perhaps 'even smilier'-- helps to complete it. I loved the subtle implication that for this woman, perhaps death was an improvement. (People take death far too seriously these days.)
