From Collage to Slideshow

From Collage to Slideshow

If you are one of the authors involved as once real-time reviewed by me, I have now completed the task of converting all your individual collages to slideshows here: https://dflewisreviews.wordpress.com/ai-author-shifting-collage-links-based-on-my-gestalt-real-time-reviews/
These images have since given birth to the hindsight-captioned items being stored on the Old AI images as swansongs group and also here: https://nemonymousnight.wordpress.com/2025/04/30/head-captioned-aimages-ar-slideshow-links/

Hyper-Imaginative Literature (9)

Obeisances

From the Hyper-Imaginative Literature facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/492148730623399/

After previous obeisances to Robert Aickman, Elizabeth Bowen, Walter de la Mare, Vladimir Nabokov, Shirley Jackson, Flannery O’Connor, Bernard MacLaverty, Truman Capote, Paul Auster and William Trevor, I would like to make five further special mentions of Katherine Mansfield, Elizabeth Taylor, Virginia Woolf, Silvina Ocampo and Clarice Lispector in connection with this group’s ethos.
My respective real time reviews for these five, in case any of you are interested:

Hyper-Imaginative Literature (8)

Melanie Tem and Steve Rasnic Tem

From the Hyper-Imaginative Literature facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/492148730623399/

I should make a separate entry regarding the works of Steve Rasnic Tem and his late wife Melanie Tem, who mainly write fiction separately, but a few times collaborating, too — creating, as an eventual gestalt, the optima as enabled by a strong hyper-imagination as part of depictions of dark emotions-and-situations: Husband and Wife: Parents and Children. But their input into our consciousness cannot be generalised. Poetic and narrative at once, often enormously disturbing while strangely capable of lifting the heart in one’s battle against as well as with the forces represented by the end of life. Ghosts and Monsters and Cosmic Stirrings underpinned by an indefinable entity as a Bowenesque ‘shadowy third’, one with high literary ingredients.

Hyper-Imaginative Literature (7)

The Walter de la Mare Phenomenon

From the Hyper-Imaginative Literature facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/492148730623399/?ref=share_group_link

I read all Walter de la Mare’s stories in the last five years, and I consider him to be the potential acme of Hyper-Imaginative Literature. Read ABO as just one example. My reviews linked in alphabetical order: https://dflewisreviews.wordpress.com/2022/11/02/my-reviews-of-walter-de-la-mare-in-alphabetical-order/

But what was MORS etched on the gravestone that was lit up earlier? A foreshortened code or something cryptic that will nag at me now forever. If I ever solve it I will come back here and put the solution to you. (re BENIGHTED)
