This is a book's book. One that I deem will be found necessary to be carried around in the pocket at all times - not as a good luck charm or a lofted cross to ward off or comfort some Brer Fox or goat crucified by the nearest tree - but potentially as an unmapped beaten road bible, or a dream-catcher, one that you can wryly resort to when the electricity is turned off and Kindles get too damp to ignite words. Permanently re-readable. Dog-eared is best.
